Thanksgiving 2020
Thankful for...
- Good Health - Good Health is one thing taken for granted until we don't have it. We must pause and be grateful if we are few of the fortunate who do. Eat well, drink well, exercise, walk, smile. See your Doctor for your annual checkup. Be sure to get all Well Checks done for your children. These checkups allow your Doctor to catch health issues in time. Our bodies grow, they don't cease. They need consistent, routine, taking care of in order to grow healthy and stay strong. Your health is MUCH more important than the manicures, the shopping, entertainment - Although, as a woman, I MUST say these things DEFINATELY help;) Nevertheless, don't underestimate the need to follow your health and make that priority.
- Family - There are days that we are FRUSTRATED with spouse, kids, parents, siblings, grandparents, even pets. And there are MOMENTS that make us SMILE. For some, smiles are more, and for others frustration. Take a moment and be thankful for our frustrations AND smiles. Whatever they are - they are ours. Ours to grasp a hold of, ours to make better (if we can), ours to decide on our reaction towards them. Just remember, patience, perseverance and SMILES bring back SMILES. Sometimes, that is the one most difficult and simple thing we forget to do with each other. Be grateful for your smile and SMILE:-)
- BASIC NECESSITIES - If you are the few who have a steady job putting food on the table, if you are the few being able to take long showers and drink clean water, if you are the few who have a roof on your head, if you are the few who get to enjoy Thanksgiving with your family - close or far. Know that YOU ARE THE FEW who are fortunate enough to do that. Be grateful to your Creator for blessings we have before they are taken away and we realize that we were the FEW who had them.
My wish for you on this Thanksgiving...
BE HAPPY, BE HEALTHY, BE BLESSED AND STAY BLESSED. SMILE:-) - Amen.
